Brilliant Performance Warmly Received

Cheers greeted the premiere of McCabe's Psalm-Cantata in St John's Smith Square on March 16th 2013. A splendid performance by the English Baroque Choir, who commissioned the work, was conducted by Jeremy Jackman, with the Brandenburg Sinfonia. The outstanding soloists in this work were Alice Privett (soprano) and Bozidar Smiljanic (bass-baritone). The other works in the programme were Schubert's delightful Mass in G, and Bach's wonderful Magnificat.
